When designing housing developments our approach is to achieve the very best for our clients whilst respecting local environments, planning policy and building regulation legislation.

CONCEPT DESIGN

“Making the most of the site…”

The planning permissions for these developments are often more difficult to achieve and involve a number of consultations to be carried out.

We believe in a turn-key service when it comes to these developments and we will source all required searches and reports in order to gain planning consent.

Often these consultations include highways, contamination, ecology and tree surveys to name a few.

Designs will need to consider the notional space standards and make allowances for public open spaces and bio-diversity gains

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

“Local support is important…”

It is important to involve the local community as far as possible with this sort of development and we are often representing clients at parish council meetings. A & K Architectural Services work with developers across the county and always welcome the opportunity to assist others.
