A & K Architectural Services offers a full Architectural Design, Planning and Building Regulation Service in Cornwall and the South West.
We are a family owned practice founded in 2005 with recognition as a chartered practice with the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) and regulated by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Having developed from the construction industry we have a practical and detailed approach to development with qualified knowledge in surveying, construction techniques, insulation solutions, plumbing, electrics and renewables.
We are here to work with you, collaboratively developing your visions and ensuring your aspirations are achieved whilst being mindful of planning policy, building regulations and your budget.
Initial Visit
Every project begins with a FREE initial consultation.
We visit your property / site or host a meeting in our office to discuss your ideas, requirements, budget, and aspirations for the space.
This allows us to understand your vision, assess the site’s potential, and provide guidance on the best way forward.
Bespoke Design
We take great pride in our client-led design process through which we create tailored architectural designs that respond to your unique requirements.
Through careful planning and collaboration, we develop creative solutions that maximise space, functionality, and aesthetic appeal while ensuring the design respects its locality
Planning Permission
Navigating the planning process can be complex, but we mange it on your behalf.
We prepare and submit all necessary drawings and documentation, liaise with the local authority, and help address any queries to give your application the best possible chance of approval.
Building Regulation Approval
We produce detailed technical drawings and specifications that comply with current Building Regulations.
These documents provide the information required for approval and ensure your project meets all relevant safety, structural, and performance standards.
Project Management
Performing our legislative duty as Principle Designers under the Building Safety Act and providing a tailer made management service for your project
We can oversee the construction process from start to finish, coordinating contractors, consultants, and suppliers to keep your project running smoothly.
